“Sleep is the golden chain that ties health and our bodies together.” – Thomas Dekker
I know you want to be a loving, connected parent who is in touch with your child’s needs. The problem is that when it comes to sleep-training every child is different and advice often conflicts. As a parent of a former sleep-deprived child, I know how frustrating and isolating it feels to want what’s best for your child and live in a state of chronic sleep deprivation.
I believe no parent should suffer or feel ashamed because they have a child who isn’t sleeping through the night or taking restful naps, and it’s why I’ve devoted nearly a decade helping over 800 families—literally thousands of individuals—achieve restful sleep and restore balance to their lives.
As a Gentle Sleep Coach,℠ I’m part of a world-wide network of sleep coaches who partner with pediatricians, doulas, and lactation specialists to care and support families just like yours. Because every family is unique, my training in infant, baby, and child sleep is comprehensive and ongoing, following the most current science and research in the fields of sleep medicine, child development, and maternal support. It’s my honor to help families achieve peaceful bedtimes, reliable naps, easier parenting, and marital harmony.

What is the Gentle Sleep Coach Method?
When I was a new mom searching for answers in a sleep-deprived haze, I found Kim West and her book Good Night Sleep Tight. This gentle and accessible methodology was my lifeline out of my own most-challenging time, and in July 2011, I became one of the first graduates of her Gentle Sleep Coach℠ Program, which is currently the most comprehensive and professional infant and child sleep coaching certification program available.
With over 80 hours of instruction, the program also includes ongoing supervision and mentorship with Kim West, LCSW-C, who has been helping tired parents for over 20 years. Through this extensive and ongoing training, I’ve been trained by and interacted with some of the top experts in the field of sleep science, which means I have a vast array of helpful resources in current sleep science and parenting education to help you out of your current sleep dilemma.
The Gentle Sleep Coaching program training and certification includes clinical supervision and ongoing advanced training as requirements to maintain certification as a Gentle Sleep Coach℠. Because the program is rigorous and ongoing, I bring a lot of specialty expertise to your case.
I offer pediatric sleep consultations and Gentle Sleep Coaching services to clients all over the country, especially in California (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Burlingame, San Jose, San Diego, Carlsbad, and in the Houston, Texas area.
