“Sleep is the golden chain that ties health and our bodies together.” – Thomas Dekker
I’m passionate about helping parents get the rest they need—so that they can be their very best selves. After all, a good night's sleep is fundamental to family health and happiness. Let me guide you step-by-step to healthier family sleep habits.
I’m a trained and certified Gentle Sleep Coach℠ and a member of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants.
When I was a new mom searching for answers in a sleep-deprived haze, I found Kim West and her book Good Night Sleep Tight. This gentle and accessible methodology was my lifeline out of my own most-challenging time, and in July 2011, I became one of the first graduates of her Gentle Sleep Coach℠ Program, which is currently the most comprehensive and professional infant and child sleep coaching certification program available. With over 80 hours of instruction, the program also includes ongoing supervision and mentorship with Kim West, LCSW-C, who has been helping tired parents for over 20 years. Through this extensive and ongoing training, I’ve been trained by and interacted with some of the top experts in the field of sleep science, which means I have a vast array of helpful resources in current sleep science and parenting education to help you out of your current sleep dilemma.
Pediatric Sleep Expert
A pediatric sleep expert, I have helped over 500 families across North America. Trained in the most comprehensive and professional baby and child sleep coaching certification program currently available, my work has been recognized by countless blogs, websites and family magazines the world over.
I've won Red Tricycle's Most Awesome Award for Parent Education Classes three times (2016, 2013, 2012), an award of which I'm quite proud. I also made the list of Start Up Nation’s Leading Moms in Business. And, I’ve been featured in Romper, Bayou City, Complete Wellbeing magazines and as a sleep expert on the Parent Savers podcast. While awards and recognition certainly make me feel wonderful, I find the greatest joy in helping my clients reach their sleep goals so that everyone in the family feels well-rested, refreshed, alert, and cheerful.

Education and Ongoing Professional Development
We learn more about infant, baby, and child sleep all the time. Because of this, I enthusiastically pursue ongoing education and training on topics related to child and family health and wellness. Plus, my Gentle Sleep Coach℠ certification requires it. I recently attended Brown University’s Eighth Biennial Conference on Pediatric Sleep Medicine. I am now enrolled in the 2016 Infant Mental Health training (IMHP) held by the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
I hold a BA from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. I graduated at the top of my class as a Phi Beta Kappa graduate.
I offer pediatric sleep consultations and gentle sleep coaching services to clients all over the country, especially in California and in the Houston, Texas area.
