Catch Flights, Not Tears: Our Family's Sleep Coaching Triumph

Life feels “smaller” and “restrictive” when you are sleep-deprived, but incredible things become possible when you are a well-rested family. 

For Jessica’s family it was when they received an invitation to a fabulous destination wedding, but it had a strict "no kids" policy. Previously, this invitation  would have been an automatic "no" due to the baby's sleep struggles. 

But now, with a well-rested and content child, they can confidently say "yes" to attending the wedding because their child now sleeps successfully at Grandma’s house and so these parents have the confidence that they can travel and enjoy a well-deserved break.

Before they embarked on their sleep coaching journey, life for this family was tough. By 14 months, their baby had never slept through the night. There were multiple wake-ups and constant feeding. These parents kept thinking…"Well, he's still a baby,"  but things only got worse. The baby would only sleep while being held, and even then, transfers to the crib only gave them 1.5-2 hours of sleep, leaving the parents exhausted and on edge.

Their son now has a bedtime routine that he understands and enjoys. Rolling around, babbling, and singing to himself has become his way of winding down. Through the work with Joanna, they established clear routines for bedtime and waking up, and their son quickly caught on.

After just a short period of sleep coaching, their baby now falls asleep within 15 minutes at 6 PM, sleeps a solid 12 hours each night, and stays asleep without a battle. Naps are easy now in the crib. No more contact naps required! Imagine the relief! 

Suddenly, there was TIME to accomplish tasks, enjoy a leisurely dinner, or work on those neglected house projects. Mornings became reliable, allowing for showers, preparation for the day, and yes, even dreaming about vacations.
